NFTA Transit Police Ready For July 4th!

TAPD has made preparations for the expected large crowds attending the Fourth of July activities at Canalside Buffalo tomorrow. K9 Units & Counter Terrorism Teams will be sweeping the areas in and around all NFTA Metro Trains & Stations as well as Canalside. Uniformed officers, Plainclothes Detectives and Emergency Response Team Members (ERT) will be deployed throughout the NFTA System. The TAPD Command Post will be stationed at Main & Scott Street and in operation from 1500-2300 hours.

The public is encouraged to report any suspicous persons/packages to any Transit Police Officer or by using our See-Say App which is free for any Apple or Android phone.
