USCGA "About Boating Safely" Course.

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 03 from Sector Buffalo is presenting the "About Boating Safely" course from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 22nd at Canal Side, 95 Perry St., Suite 500. This general boating course also meets New York State education requirements for motorboat & jet-ski/PWC operation. The cost of the course is only $20.00 and there is an optional textbook available for purchase. Throughout the course, students will learn general information about boats and maintenance, information on preparing for safe and enjoyable outings, navigation rules and aids to navigation, guidelines for operating your boat or PWC safely, what to do in case of boating emergencies and what New York specific laws and regulations you must follow.
