Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports two separate traffic stops overnight resulted in felony drug possession charges against the drivers. Wednesday at 10:37 P.M. on West Main Street in the Village of Springville, Deputy Thurston stopped a vehicle for vehicle and traffic violations. During his investigation, the Deputy discovered a quantity of crack cocaine and hypodermic needles in Austin Kopp’s possession. Kopp, 22 of Springville, is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor count of possession of a hypodermic instrument, and two vehicle and traffic violations. The defendant is awaiting his arraignment at the Erie County Holding Center. The second felony arrest occurred in the City of Buffalo on Thursday around 3:10 A.M. on Niagara Street after Deputy Bauer stopped a vehicle operated by Samantha Craddock, 26 of Buffalo, for vehicle and traffic violations. The Deputy discovered Craddock was in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. Craddock is at the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment for felony possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor count of heroin possession, a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana, and two vehicle and traffic infractions.
