Two Arrested for Being In County Park After Hours and Drug Possession.


Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 32-year-old Katherine Fremgen of Clarence and 24-year-old Theodore Snickles of Buffalo following an investigation at Erie County’s Tow Path Park during the late night hours on October 28th.

At approximately 12:41 a.m., Deputies performed a premise check at the county park when Deputies observed a vehicle, with two occupants, in the parking lot after hours.  Their investigation discovered a quantity of Suboxone, cocaine, heroin, and a crack pipe.

Fremgen is charged with:

· Three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance;

· Trespassing.

Snickles is charged with:

· Two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance;

· Trespassing.

The defendants were processed and released with appearance tickets.


The Erie County Parks system is considered one of the finest in the entire state. All parks are open 7 AM- Dusk (Winter) or 9 PM (Summer).
