TIPS Lead Sheriff's To Stolen Vehicle and Wanted Subject.


Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports a Buffalo resident's arrest after the Sheriff’s Office received anonymous tips about the individual operating a stolen vehicle and having multiple warrants.

On October 12, Deputies located the reported stolen vehicle at a Grand Island motel.  49-year-old Gary Cameron was arrested for the outstanding warrants from the towns of Hamburg and West Seneca, the City of Buffalo, and the Village of Depew.  Cameron was also charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a vehicle and a misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office issue the defendant appearance tickets then turned Cameron over to the Hamburg Police Department for the outstanding warrants
