Three arrested by NYS Police for DWI.

On February 13, 2019, Troopers observed a vehicle traveling south on Transit Rd in Clarence and Cheektowaga.  The vehicle passed a red light at the intersection of Genesee St. and was stopped.  The driver Nicholas Rossi, 44 failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.  Rossi provided a breath sample of .17% BAC.  Rossi was charged with DWI and released with a return court date in Cheektowaga. 

On February 14, 2019, Troopers observed a vehicle traveling north on Transit Rd, Clarence, without tail lights or head lights on.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Amy Moeller, 40 of Amherst failed field sobriety tests.  Moeller was arrested and provided a breath sample of .13% BAC.  She was charged with DWI and released with a return court date in Clarence.

On February 16, 2019 at approximately 4 pm Troopers observed a vehicle traveling 58 mph in 35 mph zone on East River Rd, Grand Island.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Christopher Bystrzak, 53 of Grand Island failed field sobriety tests.  Bystrzak was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample.  He was charged with DWI and released with a return court date in Grand Island Court.
