Suspended Driver Arrested On Drugs and Multiple VTL Infractions.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of 33-year-old Ronald Kehr of Collins for drug and vehicle charges following an investigation on October 3.

A Deputy initiated a traffic stop along Route 39 in the Town of Collins for vehicle and traffic law violations.  The Deputy discovered Kehr’s license is suspended, and a subsequent search recovered a packet of cocaine and three packets with heroin residue.

Kehr was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal possession of cocaine, misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.  Kehr is also charged with five separate vehicle and traffic law violations.

The defendant was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and was released following his arraignment.
