Suspect Turns Herself In Following Social Media Posts.


Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the suspect in a stolen vehicle incident that occurred in Springville on July 18, turned herself into Detectives.

On July 31st, 33-year-old Sara Lilley of Springville turned herself in to the Sheriff’s Springville Substation.  Detectives arrested and charged her with a felony count of grand larceny, grand larceny – stolen credit cards, and a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The defendant was issued appearance tickets and released.

Sheriff Howard wishes to thank the dozens of concerned citizens who called the office or posted on the Sheriff’s social media accounts.
