STOLEN PURSE REPORT GETS COMPLAINT ARRESTED.



Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Farina respond to a complaint from Dawn Bish, 41 of Salamanca, that her purse was stolen while at the Wal-Mart in Springville Friday evening. While reviewing in-store video surveillance, Deputy Farina observed Bish and John Ray, 55 of Salamanca, commit larceny. The subjects were observed taking two articles of clothing from the store, and they were subsequently charged with two counts of petit larceny each. Both defendants were released on appearance tickets for Village of Springville Court at a future date. The defendant’s purse has not been recovered.
