Stabbing Leads to SWAT Activation in Cheektowaga.

On September 15, 2019 at approximately 8:06 PM, Cheektowaga Police were dispatched to William Street, near Helen Street, for a report of a male stabbed. Upon arrival Officer discovered a 39 YOA male from West Seneca stabbed in the forearm. Medical assistance, including a tourniquet, to stop the bleeding, from the wound, was administered by Cheektowaga Officers. Further Investigation led Officers to a St Felix Avenue address, stabbing location, where Officers attempted to contact the Offender. All attempts by Officers were futile leading to the activation of the SWAT Team. After several attempts to contact the Offender, by the SWAT Team, the Offender exited the residence and was taken into custody.

The Offender, Thomas Moleski ,  60 YOA of St Felix Avenue was arrested and charged with:

•Assault 1st (B-Felony)

•Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (A-Misdemeanor)

The Offender and Victim are acquaintances and an argument, of unknown nature, led to the stabbing.
