SP Niagara- I-190 Collision & Road Closure Results in DWI Arrest.

On January 18, 2017 at 12:05 pm, Troopers arrested Justin C. Rebon, 41 of Grand Island, NY for Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, VTL- Moved from lane unsafely.

Troopers responded to a three vehicle collision on the I-190 south bound in the City of Niagara Falls. Rebon operating a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse from the Lasalle Expressway merged onto the I-190 failing to yield to a 2007 Kenworth. The operator of the Kenworth attempted to evade collision with Rebon and struck a 2011 Ford which caused the Ford to overturn.

Further investigation revealed Rebon was under the influence. Rebon was administered SFST which he failed. Rebon was transported to SP Niagara for processing and refused the breath test.

Rebon was issued appearance tickets returnable to the City of Niagara Falls.
