The Yellow Dot program is free and is designed to assist first responders in accurately evaluating and treating individuals during a medical emergency, accident, or if a victim cannot communicate.

Yellow Dot is sponsored by the New York State Sherriff’s Association, and Sheriff Howard announced last October his office would host a series of free community meetings to raise the awareness of the program and enroll residents.
