School Bus Driver Steals Purse at Chestnut Ridge Casino While School is on Field Trip.



Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Kelley responded to reports of a purse stolen at the Chestnut Ridge Casino on October 14.

The case was turned over to Detectives where their investigation uncovered evidence that the purse was available for purchase on-line. Detectives made contact with Renee Krohn when she admitted to stealing the purse while she was at Chestnut Ridge driving a school bus for an area school’s field trip.

The Detective arrested and charged Krohn, 40 of Buffalo, with a class-A misdemeanor of petit larceny. The Defendant was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Orchard Park court.
