Ounce of Meth Found During Traffic Stop in Town of Brant.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces the arrest of a 32-year-old Hanover resident on felony drug charges following a traffic stop on February 3rd.


At approximately 11PM, Deputies performed a traffic stop in the Town of Brant along Old Lake Shore Rd for vehicle and traffic law violations. During their investigation, Deputies discovered multiple clear plastic baggies containing methamphetamine weighing approximately one ounce and syringes in two separate containers on the passenger side of the vehicle. 


Dalton McCurdy, the vehicle’s passenger, was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal possession of methamphetamine.  McCurdy was processed at the Sheriff’s North Collins Substation and issued appearance tickets for the Town of Brant court.


The driver was issued a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation.
