Missing Hunter Found In Clarence.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Deputies responded to Northfield Road in the Town of Clarence at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, for a report of a missing hunter.


The Sheriff’s Office deployed Hasty Search Teams for the initial phase of the search. The search resources included Air-1, SWAT Team members, K9 teams, and ATVs.


At approximately 1240, Deputies located the missing subject in a wooded area near Northfield and Sesh roads.


The male victim was suffering from hypothermia, and other undisclosed injures. He was transported to an area hospital via ambulance for continued treatment.


Niagara Frontier Search and Rescue, Swormville and Clarence Center fire departments, and NYS Forest Rangers were other agencies dispatched to assist.
