Man Fatally Stabbed in Cheektowaga Parking Lot.

Cheektowaga, NY June 8, 2022 – An argument between two men in a parking lot turned fatal in Cheektowaga Wednesday afternoon.

Cheektowaga Police responded to a call of a fight in the parking lot of 3865 Harlem Rd just after 2pm today. Cheektowaga dispatchers also informed responding officers that one male reportedly possessed a knife.

Upon arrival a 21 year old male was found unresponsive in the doorway of the building with an apparent stab wound to the neck area. Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Additional life saving efforts were performed by medics but the male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male the victim had been arguing with was located by additional officers behind the building and was taken into custody. A blood-soaked knife was found on his person. The 27 year old Buffalo man was transported to Cheektowaga Police Headquarters for questioning and the investigation is ongoing.

It has been developed that the two males were known to each other and had arrived at the address on Harlem Rd together in the same vehicle.
