Lancaster Police Searching For Vehicle That Left The Scene of a Fatal Hit & Run Accident Over Ni

The Lancaster Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run that occurred yesterday near midnight on Broadway (Rt. 20) close to the intersection of Pavement Road. It appears that the victim, a 28 year old male, was walking west on Broadway when he was a struck from behind by a vehicle travelling west. The investigation is continuing. The public is urged to contact the Accident Investigation Unit of the Lancaster Police Department at 683-2800 extension 105 with any relevant information they may have regarding the incident.
