Lancaster Police Patrol Logs/Blotter for Sept 19th Through Sept 20th.



Officers arrested a 21 year old male from Buffalo for an outstanding bench warrant, after they checked out a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the lot of a Transit Road store. The vehicle also had a suspended registration for no insurance. A license plate was confiscated and the vehicle was impounded. The subject was turned over Buffalo Police. A 28 year old male driver from Buffalo was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (A.U.O.) in the second degree, unregistered vehicle, switched plates and unlawful possession of marijuana. The subject was released on $50 bail. Patrols responded to 4 motor vehicle accidents, including a hit & run property damage accident that occurred on Genesee Street overnight. Officers and a Lancaster Dog Control officer assisted an injured dog that was found near North Aurora Street. The D.C.O. transported the dog to a veterinarian hospital for emergency care. A complainant from Lake Avenue reported a possible attempted break-in. Patrol stopped a vehicle for a loud muffler. The 46 year old female driver from Depew was charged with inadequate muffler and A.U.O. in the second degree, after it was determined that she had 9 suspensions on her license. The vehicle was impounded and the subject later released on $200 bail. Lancaster dispatch handled 14 requests for emergency medical services. Patrols conducted traffic details on Central Avenue, Como Park (2) and Transit Road. An officer handled a walk-in complaint of fraud. Patrols assisted Erie County Sheriff's deputies in attempting to locate a vehicle involved in a larceny at a Clarence mall. An officer checked out a suspicious unoccupied vehicle parked on Peppermint Road overnight. The officer located 3 males from Buffalo trespassing at a nearby quarry. The subjects were escorted off the property and advised that if they return they will be arrested.
