Jamestown woman charged with Larceny

On September 12th, 2018, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Amber Conrad, 34, of Jamestown, for Petit Larceny. The Troopers responded to 7-11 in Randolph where the complainant stated she set her cell phone on the counter and when she returned, the cell phone was gone. The Troopers reviewed the surveillance footage which revealed a female subject (later identified as Conrad), take the phone and drive away. The Troopers located the suspect vehicle and Conrad at a nearby business. Conrad was found to be in possession of the stolen cellphone and placed under arrest. Conrad was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the town of Randolph Court and released on her own recognizance. Conrad is scheduled to reappear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date.
