Impaired Driver Strikes House in Elma.

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Avery arrested an Elma man Friday night after the Deputy responded to a call about a vehicle that drove into a house on Jamison Road in the Town of Elma.

Just after 8:30 p.m., Deputy Avery arrived at the address and saw Thomas Koseck, 72 years-old, standing near his vehicle. During the Deputy’s investigation, Koseck showed signs of intoxication; therefore, field sobriety tests were administered as well as a breath test.

Koseck failed the field tests and his BAC was greater than twice the New York State legal limit. The subject was arrested and charged with DWI and issued tickets, he was also transported to ECMC for evaluation.
