House Fire in Eggertsville.


Amherst Fire Control received 9-1-1 calls reporting a basement fire at 64 Norman Place at 10:50pm last night. Eggertsville Fire Chief Kyle Gentry reported a fire in the basement and that the fire was contained to the basement. The cause was found to be electrical in nature.

Damage listed at $65,000 to the structure and $54,000 to the contents for a total of $119.000.

All occupants were able to exit the home and were staying elsewhere for the night.
