Holland - NYS Police Investigating a Fatal Collision.

On May 31, 2022, at approximately 9:00 P.M., Troopers out of SP Clarence responded to a vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer on Vermont Hill Road in the town of Holland. Further investigation revealed that a 2000 Peterbilt was traveling southbound on Vermont Hill Road and failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with Vermont Street and struck a 2013 Silverado traveling westbound on Vermont Street. The operator of the 2013 Silverado, Thomas E. Keele, 62 of Arcade, NY was deceased at the scene. The operator of the Peterbilt had minor injuries.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
