HEROIN & COCAINE DISCOVERED AFTER FOUR TRAFFIC STOPS


Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies made several arrests this weekend after heroin and outstanding warrants were discovered during traffic stops.

December 3, 11:56 P.M., Town of Holland – Deputy Bauer stopped a vehicle operated by Sara Tingue, 34 of Yorkshire, on Olean Road for traffic offenses. During the Deputy’s investigation, he discovered various amounts of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana as well as hypodermic needles. Tingue was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal possession of cocaine and misdemeanors counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and suspended registration. The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center on $10,000.00 bail.

December 4, 4:31 A.M., Town of Clarence – Deputy Day performed a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Corey Schaefer, 29 of Clarence, for equipment violations. During the investigation, Suboxone was discovered in the subject’s possession and Schaefer was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and four separate vehicle and traffic law infractions. The defendant was released on appearance tickets for Clarence Town Court.

December 4, 10:44 P.M., Town of Holland – Deputy Bauer stopped a vehicle along Olean Road for vehicle and traffic law violations. Deputy Szkatulski and K9 Monte were dispatched to aid in the investigation and the canine made a positive alert on a package of heroin within the vehicle. Anthony Bish, 19 of Lancaster, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and vehicle and traffic violations. The defendant was released on appearance tickets for Holland Town Court.

December 5, 2:08 A.M., City of Buffalo – Deputy Bauer observed a vehicle make in illegal turn onto Elm Street and traveled the wrong way on a one-way street. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and his investigation revealed two occupants of the vehicle had outstanding warrants from area municipalities and discovered drugs including heroin and marijuana. Subsequently, the Deputy arrested four individuals.

1. Kayla Zynda, 18 of Cheektowaga, was charged with false personation and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Zynda was turned over to the Tonawanda Police Department for outstanding prostitution warrants.

2. Meghan Daniels, 29 of Buffalo, was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.

3. Valentino Shine, Jr., 32 of Buffalo, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and turned over to the Buffalo Police Department for outstanding warrants.

4. Valentino Shine, Sr., 49 of Buffalo, was charged with unlawful marijuana and released on tickets for City of Buffalo Court.
