The Erie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 333 calls the week of this report.



11/01: Traffic Arrest.

Grand Island Blvd.

Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for observed traffic infraction(s). The driver was arrested on misdemeanor traffic charges and held at the Erie County Holding Center awaiting court appearance.


11/02: Property Found – Warrant Arrest.

Whitehaven Rd.

Deputies recovered a lost property. The owner of the property was located. The subject did have an active warrant out of Buffalo. The subject was detained and turned over to Buffalo Police for service of the warrant.


11/02: UUMV.

E River Rd.

Deputies responded to investigate a report of an unlocked vehicle with keys left in it that was stolen overnight. Initial investigation was completed and the case was referred to the Detective Bureau for continued investigation.


11/02: Customer Trouble.

Grand Island Blvd.

Deputies received a complaint about a subject harassing employees of a business. The subject left prior to patrol’s arrival. The subject was located by patrol at another business. Neither business wished charges. The subject was advised and left the area without further incident.


11/04: Trespass.

Grand Island Blvd.

Deputies responded to a report of a subject trespassing at a business. The subject was previously trespassed and was no longer allowed on the property. The subject was again charged with trespass and removed from the property.
