Fire at Furnas Hall Located On The UB Campus.

On Wed., Dec 4th at 7:10 pm, UB Police reported a fire alarm activation in Furnas Hall to Amherst Fire Control.  UB Police reported seeing an unknown glow in a locked classroom.  Getzville 2nd Assistant Chief Will responded and reported a fire on the 7th floor of a 10 floor high rise.  High Rise Operations were established with the assistance of Ellicott Creek, North Bailey and Snyder firefighters.  The fire was contained to Room 703. Twin City Medics evaluated one firefighter for a minor injury.
