"Find My Phone" App Helps Buffalo Police Find Armed Thugs.

Buffalo police have arrested 3 individuals in connection with an armed robbery by using the latest in cell phone technology.

The incident happened Monday morning at approximately 1:30am in the 100 block of Floss Avenue.

Northeast District officers say 3 suspects robbed 2 individuals of cell phones and jewelry.

Using the "Find Phone" app, officers were able to track the 3 suspects to a store in the 1100 block of East Ferry.

The suspects attempted to flee from the store but were apprehended a short time later.

Police arrested a 17 year old male and two male juveniles.

They are charged with Robbery Forcible Theft with a Deadly Weapon, Burglary in the Second Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Criminal Possession of a Weapon/Firearm, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Fourth Degree, Criminal Tampering in the Third Degree, Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree and Obstruction of Governmental Administration
