Patrol checked the residence and nothing appeared to be out of place. 09/30/18: A resident of Capstone Court called about a neighbor who came to his door yelling at him for allegedly saying nasty things about her. All of the involved subjects were advised to have no contact with one another. A female called deputies stating that she had been sitting down the street from her ex-husbands house to see if he was going to leave their seven year old son home alone. There is no specific age that a child is considered old enough to be left alone for a short period of time in New York. 10/01/18: Deputies arrested a female on Transit Road on a Bench Warrant out of the city of Buffalo court on the charge of prostitution. The woman was remanded to the holding center pending her appearance in court. He was having a medical issue because he had forgotten to take his medication. The man’s wife came and picked him up. 10/02/18: Deputies are investigating an incident of employee theft at a convenience store on Main Street. An employee has allegedly been stealing scratch off lottery tickets. 10/03/18: Deputies arrested a Cheektowaga Man on an outstanding bench warrant following a traffic stop on Transit Road. It was a neighbor playing a video game. 10/04/18: An employee of a business on Sheridan Drive reported that her car had been damaged while parked at work. It looks as if the vehicle had been keyed. An employee of Victoria’s Secret reported that three females stuffed their bags full of items and ran out of the store. 10/05/18: Thirty five year old Raimon Hughes was charged with petit larceny after security cameras caught him stealing money from the cash register at Sears on Transit Road.
