09/01/18: A male fled Wal-Mart in a red SUV after allegedly stealing items from the Transit Road Store. The incident is under investigation. A resident of Shamus Drive called in a complaint about a suspicious male that was at a construction site. The male worked for a framing company. He was there working. 09/02/18: A male called from a Main Street Banquet facility. He had left his vehicle in the parking lot overnight and someone had slash two tires. He was advised to get new tires. There are no suspects and no cameras in the area. A resident of Coventry Green Apartments reported that someone was playing a bass guitar so loudly that the building was shaking. Patrol checked the area with negative results. 09/03/18: An 81 year old Clarence man was charged with harassment and criminal contempt after he allegedly shoved his wife into a table during an argument. That was a violation of a no-offensive behavior order of protection. Deputies responded to a disturbance on Stahley Road. An intoxicated male was being belligerent to his wife. An incident report was completed and the male was taken to a friend’s house for the night. 09/04/18: A vehicle was stolen from a Transit Road auto dealership and was found resting on blocks in the city of Buffalo by the Buffalo Police. The incident is under investigation. A resident of Cobblestone Drive wanted to turn old handguns over to the police. If you have old guns that you wish to dispose of you may contact any firearms dealer and they should be able to take any long gun. They are also able to take old handguns, if the guns are on your pistol permit or if the pistol belonged to a deceased family member the gun must be turned into the dealer before fifteen days pass. If you are beyond the fifteen days then you can turn the weapon in to local police. 09/05/18: A tractor trailer was broken down on Main Street and it was baking up Traffic. A wrecker was called to rermove the vehicle. Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident with injury occurred in the area of Wehrle Drive and Gunnville Road. One driver was transported to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital with minor injuries. 09/06/18: Deputies were called to the parking lot of Office Depot on Main Street for a verbal argument. A female and two males were arguing about money. They were travelling from Maine to the west coast and they were low on funds. They were advised. A caller locked a disabled person in a van by mistake. The vehicle was unlocked by AAA auto club emergency service. 09/07/18: A male called from Main Street near Shurr Road, reporting that he found a small child wandering on the street. The child’s older siblings were going to walk to the park and they did not know that the younger child followed them out of the house. The child was returned to her mother.
