Erie County Sheriff's Patrol Logs for the Alden and Marilla from 7/20 through 7/26.


07/20/19:

Deputies arrested thirty one year old Luis Soto at an address on Big Tree Road. Soto was wanted on a bench warrant out of the city of Buffalo. He was transported to the holding center.

Thirty seven year old Sara Doyle was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle after she took her mother’s vehicle from an address in Marilla. Doyle was issued an appearance ticket for Marilla town court.

07/21/19:

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Big Tree Road near Two Rod Road for a lighting violation. Sixty two year old James Lepard failed roadside sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Lepard refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was released on traffic tickets pending arraignment.

First Aid responded to Village Park Drive for a male that had fallen. Lift assist only.

07/22/19:

A female called from an address on South Newstead Road about harassing messages from a male. An incident report was completed there is a current case involving the two subjects.

A resident of Three Rod Road called about a golf ball that came through a second story window. Patrol spoke with the neighbors with negative results.

07/23/19:

Deputies responded to West Avenue for a report of a disturbance. An intoxicated female was causing a disturbance. Patrol spoke with both of the involved people and told them to go into separate rooms and get some sleep since it was the middle of the night.

A resident of Rusher Drive reported that her in laws were harassing her via text message. She was advised that her incident occurred in Niagara County so she would have to report it to either the State Police or Niagara County Sheriffs.

A motorist called and states that her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend was following them and it was escalating into a road rage on Broadway. Patrol completed an incident report and advised all of the involved individuals to cease the harassing behavior.

07/24/19:

A resident of Bullis Road filed a complaint of a check being altered by a contactor. The check bounced after someone altered the amount for which it was issued. The incident is under investigation.

The manager of a business on Jamison Road reported that an employee returned his company cell phone but that the SIM card was missing.

07/25/19:

Deputies responded to Bush Gardens for a report of someone banging on the outside of the callers trailer. Patrol checked the area with negative results.

A resident of Boncliff Drive called about pictures on his trail camera of either a Suzuki or Geo Tracker white in color with red letters on the door that is driving on his property along the creek. Patrol was not able to locate the vehicle.

07/26/19:

The owner of an auto lot on Broadway reported that the windshields had been broken on two of his vehicles.

Deputies were called to Williston Road for a report of Shots fired. There was no violation of the law. There is no town ordinance against safely shooting a firearm in Marilla.
