Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs For The Town Of Clarence From 7/23 Through 8/2.


Deputies arrested twenty four year old Jonathan Tyner on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear in the Town of Alden Court. Tyner was remanded to the holding center pending his appearance in court.

Deputies responded to Brothers of Mercy for a 911 hang up call. It was a confused, elderly resident.

The fire department responded to an address on Galway Drive for a fire alarm. It was for burned food in the microwave.


Some items were taken from the town historical museum on Main Street. The incident is under investigation.

A resident of Old Post East reported that her sixteen year old daughter had snuck out of the house. The female returned in the morning after allegedly spending the night at a friend’s house.

A Female caller called about what she called a suspicious vehicle. She stated that a car has been parked at the corner of East Howard Drive and Cameron Road for hours at a time with a man sitting in it. Patrol spoke with the owner of the vehicle who is an elderly male. He stated that he just likes to park under the tree. The man lives a few houses from where he was parking.


Deputies responded to a trespass complaint on Roll Road. The owner had passed away and people are now fighting over the estate. The female was advised to leave.

A female called about a sketchy looking male who was going door to door on Boyd Drive. The male was a subcontractor who is selling pest control services.


Deputies responded to a burglar alarm on Glen Iris Drive. It was a malfunction.

Deputies responded to a business on Main Street for a panic alarm. A four year old child had pushed the alarm.


Deputies were called to Wehrle Drive for a suspicious person complaint. A female stated that she had taken the bus from Florida after she had met a man on the internet. She no longer wanted to stay with the male and had told the person who had called that a male had been chasing her so they would let her use the phone. The female called a taxi and left.

A resident at a senior apartment complex called because someone had called claiming to be from social security and told her that she would have to pay or they would lock her social security account. This is a scam.


A caller reported a white Chrysler three hundred that was allegedly swerving between lanes on Transit Road. Patrol checked the area with negative results.

A medical alarm was reported at a senior apartment complex on Roll Road. It was a malfunction.


Deputies responded to Pinyon Court for a report of a loud party. The homeowner was advised to keep the noise down.

Patrol responded to a parking complaint at Aldi’s on Transit Road. A vehicle had parked diagonally across three handicap spots. The driver was advised to move the vehicle.
