Erie County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Logs For The Town Of Clarence From 12-19-20 Through 12-25-20.


12/19/20:

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Transit Road. Derek Dingman was ticketed for following too closely and for driving with a suspended license.

Deputies arrested Zachary Jividen on an outstanding warrant from the town of Clarence Court. Jividen had been arrested earlier by Cheektowaga police for an incident in their town.


Someone stole several catalytic convertors off of vehicles at an address on Transit Road.


12/20/20:

The fire department responded to an address on Long Street. A detached garage and a vehicle were on fire. The incident is under investigation.

Deputies responded to Northern Goodrich Road for a female caller that stated that her boyfriend had made her get out of the car and then drove off. Patrol gave the female a ride to her mother’s home.


12/21/20:

A resident of Wildwood Lane reported that someone had gone through his car. An I-pod was reported missing.


A vehicle was repossessed from an address in Clarence. The owner was not aware.


A resident of Trailing drive had multiple items stolen from unlocked vehicles sometime during the night.


12/22/20:

Arica Uptegrove was charged with criminal mischief and arson. Uptegrove had started a fire in the ladie’s room at Dash’s market last week. She was issued appearance tickets to appear in Clarence Court.

Money was reportedly taken from a lock box at an address on Strickler Road.

12/23/20:

Spencer Nowinski was charged with burglary in the second degree and two counts of grand larceny for breaking into a home on Shisler Road and stealing an all-terrain vehicle and a handgun. He used the handgun to shot another male during an incident in Newstead on December 22nd, 2020. He was held pending arraignment.

Shiquel Crule was arrested on an outstanding warrant on charges of burglary, petit larceny and trespass for an incident that occurred in Clarence in January of 2020. He was arrested at the county holding center where he was being held on unrelated charges.


12/24/20:

A caller reported that her daughter had been bitten by a dog at a family gathering on Highview Court.


Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on Trailing Drive. A woman’s ex-boyfriend had shown up uninvited and was causing a disturbance. An incident report was completed. There were no charges.

A resident of Willowbrook Drive reported hearing Gun shots. It may have been fireworks.

12/25/20:

Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at an address on KippenDrive. The residence appeared to be secure.
