Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol logs for the Town of Clarence. 03/21 Through 03/27.


Multiple unlocked vehicles were gone through at the Coventry Green Apartments. Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and to secure any valuables.

A caller reported that A fitness club on Transit Road was open. The staff were at the business meal prepping meals to be delivered to customers.

A burglar alarm was reported at a residence on Paddock View Drive. The alarm had been set off by the homeowner.


Store security at Walmart reported that a group of people ran out of the store after attempting to steal items. They left in a blue four door automobile in an unknown direction.

A resident of East Boncrest Drive reported she was getting unwanted messages from an ex-boyfriend. Patrol spoke with the male. He was advised to stop bothering the female and to bring back any medication that she had left at his apartment.

An intoxicated male was causing a problem at an address on Capstone Circle. Patrol assisted the female caller to gather her belongings so she could leave.


A suspicious male was reported on Hollingson Road. The male was looking for a female whom he calls his girlfriend yet he doesn’t know her address. The male met the woman at a local restaurant and keeps going to the area to find her. He was advised if she wanted him to know her address then she would tell him the address.

A caller reported that her minor daughter had been sending inappropriate pictures to he minor boyfriend. All the involved persons were advised against such behavior.

A male reported that he had purchased a vehicle from a male at an address on Sheridan Drive and the vehicle then disappeared from the shop. A report was taken.


The suspicious male was again going door to door on Hollingson Road. Patrol spoke to the male and advised him that multiple callers find his behavior to be alarming. Patrol also advised a family member of the male and asked them to intervene to stop the behavior.

Two males stole several clothing items from B. J’s Wholesale club and fled in a vehicle that is registered to a female in Buffalo. The incident is under investigation.


Deputies responded to an address on Kraus Road. There was a verbal argument between a male and a female. The male left for the day.

A caller reported that kids were illegally operating ATV’s on property at the corner of Greiner and Shimerville Road. Patrol checked the area with negative results.


Deputies responded to an address on Howard Drive a person from out of town had not been able to reach a person at the address. The person was fine. She was advised to contact the caller.

A resident of Tonawanda Creek Road called because the neighbors had cut down all of the shrubs on her property.

A group of youths damaged a fence at Sunset Park in Clarence. The incident is under investigation.


Deputies responded to an address on Tonawanda for a disturbance. Two males were arguing about one of the males looking at the other male’s wife. Both subjects were advised.

A detective from the Sheriff’s office working with the Health department, responded to a complaint of a large group of patrons at a bar on Main Street. The business was shut down by the health department for violating the closure order.
