Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for Marilla and Alden from 9/7 Through 9/13.


09/07/19:

Deputies responded to a 911 hang up on Pohl Road. A child had been playing with the phone.


First aid responded to an address on Townline Road for a male that was having a seizure. The male declined transport.


09/08/19:

An eighteen year old male was charged with assault in the third degree. The charges stem from an altercation at the county correctional facility.


A passing motorist called in a house fire on North Millgrove Road. The house was fulling involved when the fire department arrive. It was an unoccupied home. The incident is under investigation by fire investigators from the Sheriff’s Office.


09/09/19:

A caller from an address on Two Rod Road reported that someone had loosened the lug nuts on the tires on her vehicle.


Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office are investigating multiple bad checks written from a closed bank account and cashed at the Alden State Bank.


09/10/19:

A female called from an address on Bayview Drive. She stated that someone came into her mobile home and had stolen her beer. Patrol located her male friend walking in the area with the beer and returned the beer to the caller.


The fire department responded to Westwood Road for a report of a grass fire. It was a controlled burn by a farmer.


09/11/19:

Deputies arrested thirty eight year old John Cummings on the charge of Criminal Mischief in the second degree. Cummings allegedly did damage to a trailer and the front lawn of a residence on Fairview Drive. Cummings was remanded to the holding center pending arraignment.


A student reported that someone had stolen cash from her backpack the day before while she was at the town park on West Main Street.


09/12/19:

The manager of Tractor Supply called about an ill raccoon in the area. The animal was gone when patrol arrived.


A caller requested that police check the welfare of a thirteen year old child at an address on Two Rod Road. The child was not answering the phone. Everything was fine.


09/13/19:

First aid responded to an address on Lyndale Lane for a person possibly having a stroke. A female was transported to the hospital.


Patrol responded to Genesee Street for a disabled vehicle that was blocking traffic. A deputy stood by until a tow truck could remove the vehicle.
