03/07/20:
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Wherle Drive. The caller had found her neighbors dog wandering around off leash. When she called to advise the neighbor, he came over and started banging on the door and causing a problem. The male was intoxicated. The dog was turned over to the male and he was advised to keep the dog on a leash.
Deputies were called to Main Street to check on a vehicle that was parked in a field. The female in the vehicle was not cooperative with deputies. She was advised that someone had called and that she would have to go somewhere else because she was on private property. She left without further incident.
03/08/20:
Deputies responded to A business on Transit Road because a patron had found the front door open but the business was closed. Patrol contacted the owner and he came to secure the door.
A resident of an apartment complex continues calling about her phone being tapped and cameras in her smoke detector. Patrol and the building manager have checked and have found no evidence of cameras or other recording equipment.
03/09/20:
A caller reported that a male had been hitch hiking every day for a week on Greiner Road. The caller was adamant that police check the area even though hitchhiking is not against the law as long as you are not blocking traffic.
A caller reported that he found it suspicious that an older male was pacing a young female who was jogging on Boyd Drive. The male was the girl’s father and he was riding his bike along because he didn’t want her to jog alone.
03/10/20:
Patrol’s responded to a report of a burglary at an address on Trailing Drive. State Police are handling the incident.
Deputies responded to Ranch View Drive for an emergency pendant activation. It was accidental.
Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Shimerville Road. Nobody was injured and the car was pulled out by a tow.
03/11/20:
A male called from an address on Transit Road claiming that someone had entered his house and had opened all of the windows. The landlord stated that he had opened all of the windows because there had been a natural gas leak.
First aid responded to an address on Main Street for a person who was having chest pain. The person was transported to the hospital.
03/12/20:
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office arrested 31year old Tiara Wright on Charges of Petit Larceny and falsifying business records. Wright’s arrest was for employee theft at Burlington Coat Factory.
A caller reported that she wanted police to check on children that were in a vehicle with an adult that was smoking. The vehicle was parked at Home Depot. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
03/13/20:
An employee of the Clarence Highway department called about a twenty year old male who had showed up at the highway barn. The male was all wet and claimed to have been walking for miles. The male was given a ride home.
A male called from an address on Capstone Court. He was upset because a female had pulled off his ear buds when he was talking to a friend. The female left prior to patrols arrival.
