Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for Alden and Marilla from 3/14 Through 3/20.


A female caller asked patrol to check a parking lot in the Village of Alden because a scruffy looking white male had asked her for a ride. She stated that he was very aggressive. Patrols checked the area with negative results.


A resident of Porterville Road called in a report of a suspicious vehicle. Patrol spoke with the person in the vehicle. No laws were being violated.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Alden Bowling center. Two groups of people were being loud and argumentative. Everyone was advised and they all left the business with no further issues.


Deputies responded to Exchange Street for a neighbor dispute. The tenants in the front apartment are up late partying and playing loud music and other tenants can’t sleep. The offending parties were advised to keep the noise down.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Valley Lane. A female claimed that the male had slammed the door and it had hit her. The male stated that he had slammed the door in an attempt to get away from her because she would not leave him alone. The male left for the evening and an incident report was completed.


Deputies were back at the address on Exchange Street. The caller stated that the landlord was harassing her saying that they had to move out in three days. The landlord had not evicted the tenant so they did not have to leave.03/18/20:

Deputies spoke with the landlord at the address on Exchange Street and advised her to stop calling police for non-police issues and to contact an attorney to evict the tenants that are causing her problems.

First Aid responded to Shearing Drive for a male that had fallen. Lift assist only.


Two young children had shown up at the door of a residence on Clinton Street. Patrol took the children home. Their grandmother had fallen asleep while watching a movie and the kids did not know what to do.

A burglar alarm was reported at a residence on Uebelhoer Road. Deputies checked the residence and found that it was secure.


A burglar alarm was reported at an address on Peters Corners Road. It had been set off by the homeowner.

A utility pole snapped in half on Sullivan Road. Verizon responded to replace the pole.

Patrol answered multiple alarms that went off due to power lines coming down in several areas.
