Sixty one year old Michael Riley was charged with driving while intoxicated after deputies found him standing next to his vehicle in the middle of Walden Avenue. Riley submitted to a breath test which showed that his blood alcohol content was .13 of one percent. He was remanded to the holding center on cash bail.
A resident of Clinton Street was upset because her estranged husband had dropped her from his health insurance. She was advised to report the issue to the judge who is handling her divorce.
Deputies responded to Reinhardt Road for a report of a disturbance. A male was upset because his ex-girlfriend had allegedly shoved him. He was advised.
Patrol responded to an address on Exchange Street to conduct a welfare check on a male for Adult services. A male was evaluated by first aid but declined transport to the hospital.
Deputies stopped a vehicle at Two Road and Westwood Road for rolling through a stop sign and making an improper turn. The driver failed sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Forty four year old Shawn Woods submitted to a breath test which showed that his blood alcohol content was .21 of one percent. The high test result elevated the charge to aggravated driving while intoxicated. Woods was released to a friend on traffic tickets.
