ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE PATROL LOG FOR ALDEN AND MARILLA 08/22/20 THROUGH 08/28/20.
Deputies responded to Crosby Mart in Alden for a report of a disorderly patron who would not leave. A male came in as they were closing demanding to purchase scratch off lottery tickets. The male was sent on his way.
A child’s backpack was found in the parking lot at the Marilla Country store. The item was taken to the sheriff’s station in Elma.
Deputies responded to some sort of disturbance on Jamison Road. A male called 911 screaming about his ex-girlfriend showing up at the house drunk to take their son. Patrol arrived on scene and the caller was highly intoxicated with patrol deputies screaming and using profanity. The female appeared to be fine. A domestic incident report was completed.
The fire department responded to Virginia Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm. A positive reading was noted and the gas company responded to resolve the issue.
An eighteen-year old male was charged with assault in the second degree after an incident at the correctional facility in Alden. A second male aged twenty-one years old was charged with the same charge for his participation in the incident.
Deputies responded to Zoeller Road for a male who needed a form for a lost driver’s license.
An alarm was reported at a residence on Broadway. Patrol checked the residence and found it to be secure.
Deputies went to address on Two Rod Road to check welfare of a male who was not answering the phone for family members. The male was fine. He just did not wish to talk to his family.
A thirty-seven-year old male was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation while he was being housed at the correctional facility on unrelated charges.
Deputies responded to an address on Hemstreet Road for a possible violation of an order of protection. A warrant will be requested from the local court for criminal contempt.
A male was transported to the hospital from an address on South Lawn Court. He was stung by a bee and was having a reaction.
Patrols responded to an address on Broadway an intoxicated male was sitting on the sidewalk crying and a female called and stated that her boyfriend was drunk and had come after her.
Wires came down across the roadway on Lyndale Lane. Power lines down were also reported on Liberia Road and Hemstreet Road.
Deputies responded to Marion Lane for a welfare check. They spoke to a male and his father and it was determined that he was fine. A friend had called worried that he may be depressed.
Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch at Genesee Street at Pohl Road. An attempt to locate the driver yielded negative results. The vehicle was towed and will be released when the driver comes forward.
