Erie Co Sheriffs PBA Donates Over $15k to WNY United.

Erie County Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association donate proceeds from its annual golf tournament to WNY United today. The PBA, the Sheriff’s Office, and WNY United have a great and long standing partnership raising awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse to the community focusing efforts on youth programs. ECSO PBA President Christian Parisi, who represents 150 members, presented the check to Beth Anzalone, WNY United Executive Director for $15,250.00. The donation is a result of the proceeds from the PBA’s annual golf tournament. WNY United conducts many school programs and partners with local businesses to raise the awareness of drug and alcohol abuse among youth. WNY United is currently conducting “It’s Not a Minor Problem” campaign with its partners Consumer Beverages, and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. WNY United also uses funds for the Red Ribbon anti-drug campaign in area schools. To date, the Sheriff’s PBA has donated over $22,250.00 WNY United for its community-based substance abuse prevention programs. WNY United has been providing Drug and Alcohol abuse prevention services for the past 32 years.
