Erie Co. Sheriffs Office is reporting that car thieves hit Elma & Newstead hard over the weekend taking Cash, Wallets, Identification and so on. They would like to remind people that most of the victims of these thefts were due to unlocked vehicles. Also leaving valuables in your car where thief's can see it, They Will attempt to take it. Make sure you LOCK your vehicles at night and/or wherever it is parked and leave your valuables hidden from sight, Such as your Glove Box or Trunk. Don't Be The Next Victim!
