Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports a several month investigation, headed up by Chief Alan Rozansky, culminated in the arrests of two Buffalo residents with prior drug-related felony convictions.
The sheriff’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant signed by Judge Timothy Drury for a residence at 433 Parkdale Street in the City of Buffalo. During the search, Detectives and Deputies discovered and seized approximately three quarters of a kilo of cocaine, approximately six ounces of heroin, and approximately $10,000.00 in drug money.
Arrested following the raid was Angel Cruz, 43 of Buffalo, and charged with an A-1 felony for criminal possession of a controlled substance, a B felony for intent to sell, and three counts of misdemeanor charges related to drug paraphernalia. The second defendant, Jesus Rivera – 38 of Buffalo, was charged with an A-1 felony for criminal possession of a controlled substance and a B felony for intent to sell.
Both defendants are held at the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment on July 21.
