12/30:

Assist Person

W Maple Ct.

Complainant reported possible abuse to a resident by a staff member. No injury was reported. OPWWD notified and SASI is conducting their own investigation. Police report completed.


12/30:

Property Found

Transit Rd.

Complainant found a magazine from a weapon in a rental vehicle. Patrol attempted to contact last couple of renters for the vehicle. Magazine was secured at chestnut ridge for safe keeping. Property receipt issued to complainant.

Motorist Broke Down

Rte 400 @ Transit Rd.

Deputies responded to a vehicle on the shoulder of the road. Operator was waiting for a part to fix the vehicle on the roadside. All set

N Davis Rd.

Complainant reports a large party next door and people are parking on the wrong property. Patrol advised the party to stay on the correct property to avoid charges.

Noise Complaint

N Davis Rd.

Complainant states there is a large party nearby that is getting out of hand. Patrol spoke to the party and they were in the process of dispersing.

Criminal Mischief

N Davis Rd.

Complainant reports damage to a residence. Police report completed to document incident, but the issue is a civil matter as it was a rental that was rented out for the night.

Seneca St.

Vehicle off the Roadway.

Deputies responded to a vehicle in a ditch. Vehicle swerved to avoid a crash and slid into the ditch. Vehicle was pulled from the snowbank without damage.

Rice Rd.

Complainant reports a basement flooding. Fire on scene to pump out basement.

Creek Rd.

Complainant upset that the dump was closed. Sign shows different hours than the website. Numerous cars sent on their way.

Shoplifting

Clinton St.

Complainant reports a young male shoplifting from the store. Retired police officer followed subject in question for awhile and was able to provide a valuable description of person and vehicle. Deputies contacted subject’s parents and they will have their son make restitution to avoid charges. Store agreed to this.

Jamison Rd.

Complainant reports a young male in the store shoplifting, Same subject as earlier shoplifting was described. Patrol contacted subject’s parents and they will have their son make restitution to avoid charges. Store agreed to this.

Motorist Broke Down

Transit Rd @ Main St.

Deputies responded to a vehicle broke down in the lane of traffic. AAA en-route to remove vehicle.

West Seneca PD asked ECSO to make a notification. Deputies located the subject and notification was made.

Suspicious Vehicle

Clinton St @ Girdle Rd.

Complainant reports a suspicious blue SUV on the shoulder of the road with its four-ways on. Vehicle was gone prior to patrol arrival. Area was searched with negative results.

Suspicious Incident

N Davis Rd.

Complainant heard noises coming from her garage. She could see the lights on in her car. Deputies checked the garage and the vehicle with negative results.

Vehicle off Roadway

Transit Rd @ Rte 400.

Deputies responded to a vehicle broke down in a bad spot. Transit towing has the vehicle. Owner of vehicle notified.

S Ostrander Rd.

Deputies responded to assist a female. Female was transported to hospital for further assistance.

Suspicious Vehicle

Buffalo Creek Rd.

Deputies responded to a moving vehicle in the road with no driver in it. Driver arrived just after patrol. He rented the vehicle to move some items. All in order.

Noxious Odor

Kalla La.

Complainant reports a chemical odor in the area. Patrol checked the area and did not detect any foul odors.

Accident – Injury

Rte 400 @ Rice Rd.

Deputies responded to a vehicle in the trees. Driver was transported to the hospital via AMR. All documents sent with the passenger. Owner of the vehicle notified by phone of the accident. Smokey’s towed the vehicle. Accident report completed.

Assist Person

Hall Rd.

Complainant reports possible abuse to a female from her son. Complainant asking to meet at the residence to investigate further. Adult protective services completed their interviews of all parties involved. No injuries were reported and patrol assisted APD with their interviews. All parties allowed to stay in the current situation.

Transit Rd.

Complainant reported a transaction from his bank that he did not authorize. He reported it to his bank and they deemed it a valid transaction. Police report completed and referred to the detective bureau.

Hessland Ct.

Complainant reports a vehicle is sitting at the end of the driveway. They do not recognize the vehicle. All reported to be in order

A representative from MACC Center reported having a completed Rape kit ready. Victim left prior to patrol arriving. Police report completed and referred to detective bureau.

Complainant was seeking advice how to stop their daughter from talking to someone older.

12/31:

Larceny

Savage Rd.

Complainant states the car was broken into last night. A purse containing over $300 cash and an expensive camera with lenses were taken. Police report completed and referred to detective bureau

Property Found

Savage Rd.

Complainant turned over a NYS driver’s license and insurance cards that were found while out walking. The neighbor had found a small purse at the end of her driveway as well. Owner of the license identified the purse as hers as well. Supplemental police report added to recent larcenies in the area.

S Main St.

Complainant believes she has located the driver and vehicle that struck her vehicle in the past. Patrol spoke to both parties. No signs or proof that this vehicle is the striking vehicle

Assist Person

Three Rod Rd.

Complainant asked patrol to stand by while property was retrieved. Vehicle was only thing retrieved. This was the only item that proof of ownership could be provided and was not disputed.


12/30:

Unwelcome Guest

Three Rod Rd.

Complainant reported that when a female left his property, she damaged items that were in the snow. Complainant only wanted subject notified that she is no longer welcome at the residence. Female spoke with NYS troopers instead of returning phone messages left by patrol.

Accident Hit & Run

Porterville Rd @ Two Rod Rd.

Deputies responded to a vehicle that almost hit another vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle without a driver. Vehicle did strike another vehicle back down the road. Vehicle was towed from the scene. Driver was later identified and interviewed. Driver given his tickets and released. Accident report completed.


12/31:

Suspicious Vehicle

Clinton St @ Exchange St.

Complainant reports a vehicle swerving all over the road with a side door wide open. Plate information given was not valid. Patrol searched the area with negative results.


12/31:

Unknown Trouble

Townline Rd.

Complainant reports smoke coming out of the windows of a nearby house. Patrol reports heavy fog in the area. Multiple residences checked with negative signs of smoke.

Harassment

Bush Gardens.

Deputies responded to a report of harassment. Complainant states her son is being bullied by someone in the area. Patrol referred the situation over to the SRO as the bullying is happening at school.

Suspicious Incident

Big Tree Rd.

Complainant reports finding bones in the area. Patrol met with complainant. Bones appeared to be animal in nature.


1/4:

Accident – Injury

Strykersville Rd.

Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident. Driver fled the scene prior to patrols arrival. Accident report completed. Vehicle was impounded after being towed from the scene.


1/4:

Property Found

Strykersville Rd.

Complainant turned over a purse he found on his property. Appears to possibly from the driver of the vehicle from the above accident. Purse secured in the evidence lockers for safe keeping.


1/5:

Deceased Body

Woods Rd.

Deputies responded to a male passed out in a vehicle. Male had extensive medical history. He was pronounced by paramedic and his Dr. Male had a valid DNR in place. Medical examiner notified and released the deceased to the funeral home. Police report completed.

Assist Person

Hunters Creek Rd.

Complainant states a contractor is digging out a ditch and the water is flooding out her property. Deputies informed her the homeowner has a proper permit and is allowed to work on their property. She will try the town again for assistance or call a lawyer as this is a civil matter. Nothing criminal in nature.
