Erie Co. Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for the Town of Clarence From 07/20 Through 07/26.


The fire department responded to Spaulding Drive after a homeowner heard a noise and the power went out. The house also started filling with smoke. An electrical problem had knocked out power in the area.

A resident of Ledge Lane reported that she was getting harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend. Patrol showed her how to block the phone number.


Deputies investigated an incident of road rage that occurred on Transit Road. The involved parties were both advised.

A burglar alarm was reported on Donnington Road. It had been set off by the son of the owner.


An employee of Walmart was charged with Petit Larceny after an internal investigation revealed that she had been stealing items by not ringing them up when she checked out at the self-checkout. Twenty three year old Nichole Sikes was released on an appearance ticket pending arraignment and she was escorted from the store.

A burglar alarm was reported at a home on Thornwood Lane. Patrol checked the perimeter of the residence and found it to be secure.


A wallet was found at a store on Transit Road. The item was returned to its owner.

Some tools were reported as being stolen from a job site on Helenwood Drive. An anonymous note was left at the scene. The incident is under investigation.

A caller reported that a male was going through vehicles at a used car lot on Main Street. Patrol checked the area with negative results.


Deputies responded to Eastbrooke Place to assist a person retrieve items from her father’s residence. The items were retrieved without incident.

A resident of Ransom Road called about an unknown male who was sitting under a tree on her property. The male had left the area prior to the arrival of patrol.

Patrol responded to Wolcott Road for a disturbance. According to the homeowner a teenage male was throwing a tantrum. The male took off into the woods. Patrol spoke with all of the involved individuals. No further police action was taken.


Thirty nine year old Tony Aguglia was charged with criminal contempt and harassment after he violated an order of protection in Clarence. He allegedly threatened his mother during an argument. He was remanded to the holding center pending arraignment.


Thirty three year old Nicholas Prescott was arrested on a bench warrant from the town of Clarence Court. He was remanded to the holding center pending his appearance in court.

A resident of Stage Road called about a group of disorderly teens in an old quarry. Patrol contacted the parents of the subjects and the parents came to pick up their children.
