Deputies responded to a Two vehicle accident on County Road. One driver was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way. There were no injuries.
A resident of Brentwood Drive reported her son was out of control. The male was advised by patrol there was no crime committed.
Deputies responded to Coventry Green Apartments for a disturbance. A couple had a verbal argument over the male’s behavior. Both. They were advised to go to bed and stay away from each other.
A caller reported that her five-month-old puppy had jumped out of the car on Min Street. She wanted police to be aware. She was out looking for the dog.
A resident of Main Street reported that his ex-girlfriend was moving out and taking items that belonged to him. He was advised that unless he had proof of ownership that it is a civil issue.
Twenty-six-year old Javohn Peterson was arrested following a traffic stop on Old Post West. Person was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree. Peterson has no license because he currently has fourteen open suspensions from various local courts. Peterson was also ticketed for switched plates no insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle. He was remanded to the holding center pending arraignment.
Deputies arrested twenty-seven-year old Johna Deveans after he was witnessed operating a motorcycle recklessly speeding and doing wheelies on Main Street. Deveans has no license as he currently has five open suspensions from various local courts. He was released on traffic tickets for reckless driving aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the second degree and speeding.
A resident of Greenbriar Drive reported that someone had taken out a loan using his personal information.
A resident of Wexford Lane called about a deer that had impaled itself on his metal fencing. The Department of environmental conservation police came to get the animal off the fence.
First aid responded to Clarence Center Road for a male that had fallen and was injured. The male went to the hospital.
A resident of Winding lane reported that someone had gone through her unlocked vehicle and had stolen an I-pod.
A second caller on Winding Lane reported that someone had gone through an unlocked vehicle approximately fifteen dollars was taken.
An elderly female called from Sawmill Road reported that her purse was missing and some money was also missing.
Fifty-three-year old Katrina Duncan was charged with petit larceny after she left J. C. Penny’s with over one hundred dollars in property without paying. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
A female called from The Town Park on Main Street reporting that a group of kids was smoking pot at the pavilion near the bike path and stated that the teens were harassing people who were walking on the bike path.
Tools were stolen from a building on Goodrich Road. The incident is under investigation.
A twenty-year old female was arrested at Walmart on grand larceny charges. She was processed and was released on an appearance ticket.
A burglar alarm was reported at a medical office on Transit Road. The building appeared to be secure.
