Erie Co. Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for Marilla and Alden from 05/18 Through 05/24.
05/18/19: A resident of Broadway in the village of Alden reported that someone had damaged her vehicle sometime during the night. A female from Exchange Street also reported damage to her vehicle.
Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident on Genesee Street. The driver was transported the hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
05/19/19: An anonymous caller reported a disturbance at an address on West Main Street. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
A resident of Townline Road reported that her son had never made it to a graduation the day before. The male turned up in custody of the Niagara Regional Police because he had crossed the bridge to Canada in an intoxicated state. His mother was instructed that she could go to Ontario and bail him out on May 20th.
05/20/19: A caller felt that it was suspicious because a hunter dressed in camouflage clothing and carrying a gun was walking near the Alden Bowling Center. Patrol checked the area with negative results.
First aid responded to an address on Townline Road for an eighty eight year old who was reporting pain in the area of her kidneys.
05/21/19: Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office arrested twenty three year old James Krumb on charges of perjury and falsely reporting an incident. Crumb had reported a burglary to his residence on Hemstreet Road in Marilla. Krumb had reported that someone had broken into his residence in April of this year.
A resident of Meadow Drive received a scam e-mail telling her to avoid trouble she needed to send money. The caller was advised to delete the email.
05/22/19: Deputies arrested twenty three year old Samantha Vincek on an outstanding warrant for controlled substance and prostitution charges. She was arrested while at the county correctional facility in Alden on unrelated charges.
A resident of Hemstreet Road reported a violation of an order of protection. The incident is under investigation.
05/23/19: A resident of Eastwood Road reported a break in at the residence. Apparently the caller’s ex-boyfriend had come to the residence looking for property. Both subjects are on the lease and they were both advised that any disagreement over property is a civil issue.
First aid responded to Westwood Road for a report of a person who was feeling light headed and not answering questions. The person was transported to the hospital.
05/24/19: A resident of Williston Heights surrendered some firearms to comply with a court order suspending his pistol permit.
Deputies arrested thirty four year old Michael Flower on grand larceny charges at an address on Broadway. Flower allegedly stole over three thousand dollars from his employer in Alden. He was remanded to the holding center pending arraignment.
A resident of West Main Street called reporting that she had found a wallet. The wallet was returned to its owner.
