Erie Co. Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for Marilla and Alden. 4/6 - 4/12.

A resident of Liberia road called about shots fired in the wood behind her house. A good rule of thumb is that if you can’t see the person who is shooting a gun then there is probably no reason to call the police unless you believe another crime is being committed. People have second amendment rights.

A 911 call was reported at a residence on Clearview Drive. There is a high incidence of phone issues in the Alden area. For some reason 911 calls often come in from residences and businesses that do not even have landline phones.

First aid responded to Woodside Drive for a report of a female who reported shoulder and arm pain. She was transported to the hospital.

A female called to complain about her ex because he was allegedly “flying” into the driveway and not having the children buckled up. The male gave patrol a conflicting story. A domestic incident report was completed.

Deputies were sent to try to make contact with a male on Rusher Drive. Because a nursing home was looking to make contact with a person who was a healthcare proxy for a resident. The person who police were trying to contact was in another nursing home.

A trash can full of garbage had blown over into the road on Porterville Road and it was causing a problem. The responding deputy clears it from the roadway.

Twenty five year old Jakar Peterson was charged with assault in the second degree for allegedly assaulting a fellow inmate at the county correctional facility in Alden.

A caller from Anne Drive was upset because an older male keeps contacting her fourteen year old daughter. On Social Media. The girl apparently keeps telling older males that she is seventeen. All were advised.

A resident of Park Street called police because she was upset because two cleaning people who were arguing got “up in her face” when she told them to quiet down. No crime was committed.

A resident on Whitetail Drive was scammed by a person who called pretending to be Geek Squad Support and conned her into purchasing eight google play cards worth four thousand dollars.

Deputies went to a residence on Hemstreet Road in Marilla to serve a warrant out of Orchard Park Court. The female attempted to flee and then fought with patrol. She was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration and was turned over to Orchard Park police on their warrant.

A resident of South Lawn Court reported that someone made unauthorized charges on her credit card.

*** If you share custody of children with someone, it’s best to minimize the drama and try to be civil about making the exchange because being rude or petty is not a crime. You are however setting a poor example for the children.
