Erie Co. Sheriff's Office Patrol Logs for Marilla and Alden 09/21 Through 09/27.


09/21/19: Deputies were called to an address on Park Street in Alden for a disturbance not in progress. A female reported that a known male had grabbed her and pulled her out of the car and smashed her phone. The incident occurred the night before. The incident is under investigation.

09/22/19: Patrols responded to a report of loud music on Two Rod Road. Patrol located the cause of the noise and advised the subject to turn the music down because it bothering other people.

The fire department responded to an address on Broadway for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm because of a bad sensor.

09/23/19: Detectives from the Sheriff’s office are investigating a theft from Tops by a quick change scammer.

A woman called about a suspicious vehicle on Parker Road. A male had pulled over to take a nap because he was not feeling well. He was advised.

A manager from Valu Home center called police about a bad check complaint. The issue is under investigation.

09/24/19: First Aid responded to an address on Mayfield Drive for a male who was having chest pain. The male was transported to the hospital.

09/25/19: Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at a residence on Four Rod Road. The building appeared to be secure.

A resident of Westwood Road reported an incident of identity theft. Someone had used his personal information to purchase an I-Phone and opened an account with AT&T.

09/26/19: A tree branch came down on Four Rod Road and a School bus was stuck and could not turn around. The highway department responded to clear the road.

A resident of Mount Vernon Drive called police because a male kept calling her about health insurance. The number that the male called from was not in service. There is no need to answer the phone if you don’t recognize the number. Just let the call go to voicemail or block the number.

09/27/19: Deputies are investigating a customer complaint of two teens stealing a case of beer from the Sunoco at the corner of Broadway and Crittenden Road.
