TOWN OF ELMA:

12/16

Disturbance

Seneca St

Deputies responded to a possible domestic in a moving vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate vehicle in our jurisdiction. However, ECSO made contact via phone and the complainant stated they made it home safe. West Seneca Police went to the owner’s residence. Complainant stated she was safe and all set. WSP will advise if they need more assistance.

Seneca St

Deputies responded to a vehicle that slid off the road and into a pole. No injuries reported to patrol. Traffic tickets issues and accident report completed.

Rte 400 @ Jamison Rd

Deputies came across a vehicle off the road. Driver reported no injuries and already had a tow on its way.

Ostrander @ Jamison Rd

Deputies responded to a vehicle off the roadway. Tow truck arrived for a winch out only. No injuries reported to patrol. Vehicle driven from the scene.

Jamison Rd

Complainant stated that snow removal company was piling snow in a bad spot and was concerned the town plows would then push it and bury the residents. Plow drivers and company had moved the snow prior to patrols’ arrival. No issues at this time.

Abandoned Vehicle

W Blood Rd

Deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle on the complainant’s property. Vehicle became stuck in an unplowed driveway. He called AAA to have it winched out. Driver will return at a later date to fix the ruts left in the lawn.

Complainant states a small SUV went down the embankment on the right side of the highway. Tow truck arrived on location to remove the vehicle. No injuries reported to patrol.

Deputies responded to a vehicle off the roadway. No injuries reported. Vehicle towed from scene. Accident report completed.

Transit Rd @ Seneca Creek Rd

Deputies assisted West Seneca Police in locating a male threatening suicide. Patrol was able to talk the subject into dropping the knife giving himself up safely. Male was transported to ECMC for 9,41 MHL evaluation. WSP will have charges for an incident in their town.

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident. No injuries reported to patrol. Driver information exchange form filled out and issued to both drivers.

Complainants state a male was walking in and out of traffic in the area, Patrol located the male and he was given a courtesy ride to a nearby residence.

Complainant reports vehicle off the shoulder of the off ramp. No injuries reported. Vehicle was winched out and driven from the scene.

Complainant states her ex-boyfriend tried to withdraw money from her account. Bank had stopped the transaction prior to him obtaining any money. No financial loss occurred. Both parties advised.

Deputies responded to a verbal argument between male and female. Male requested female leave for the night as she was trying to instigate a fight. Patrol spoke to both parties and female agreed to leave for the night. Verbal only.

Complainant stated a student brought a DAB pen to school and sold it to another student. Pen tested positive for THC. School handling incident internally.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle. Owner was attempting to get fuel for the vehicle.

Deputies responded to a male that states his soon to be ex-wife is refusing to give up the kids. He was advsied on possible avenues to pursue and recommended to report with family court. Female states male is paranoid after smoking meth in the past week.  CPS referral made and police report completed.

Complainant stated that his car payment was never received. After further investigation, it was determined that the check was altered and cashed by an unknown party. Police report completed and referred to detective bureau.

Complainant received an email stating her account had been hacked. She then tried to find a company to help her retrieve her account. After paying for services, she realized it was a scam. Police report completed. She was advised to report this to her bank as well and have them start a fraud case on it.

Deputies responded to an alarm activation. Homeowner reports it was accidental.

Deputies responded to a male possibly considering harming himself. Patrol spoke to male who stated he has no intentions of harming himself. Male does not meet MHL 9.41 criteria. Complainant lives out of state and confirmed they were in a verbal agument over the phone.

Deputies responded to a male trespassing on property. Complainant is upset that the male cintinually is on his property. Patrol unable to locate male.

Deputies responded to a juvenile female with suicidal thoughts. Subject was texting a hotline stating she wanted to harm herself. Subject was already taken to ECMC for MHL 9.41 treatment earlier in the day.

Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch. No injuries reported. Vehicle was not a hazard at this time and was working on their own tow.

Complainant requested a welfare check on elderly male they helped the other night. Patrol spoke to daughter in law at the residence. Male is at the hospital and is doing well.

Complainant requested patrol to check on her son. She claims he is sick and may not be doing well and not answering his phone. Patrol spoke to the male. He was quite sick but denied first aid or EMS. He stated he would call his parents to give them an update on his health.

Complainant states someone threatened him at a gas station. Video link was uploaded to Evidence.com. Patrol unable to locate the vehicle in question. No actual contact between parties. AIO

Complainant unable to reach her cousin. Patrol responded but was unable to make contact. Nothing suspicious at the residence. Patrol did not make entry. Vehcile was not on location and cell phone went to voicemail.
