Erie Co. Sheriff’s Office CIU Investigating Bicyclist Involved MVA with Injuries.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Unit continues to examine a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist which occurred along Eckhardt Road in the Town of Boston Monday afternoon sometime around 2:00 p.m.

Deputies responded to the scene and observed fire personnel treating a 13-year-old for multiple injuries.  The victim was transported to Oishei Children’s Hospital via Mercy Flight where the victim was listed in stable condition as of Monday evening.

Eckhardt Road, between Taylor and Heinrich roads, was closed for several hours as members of the crash unit continued their investigation of the incident.
