Erie Co. Blotter Stopped at Buffalo Police K9 Corps.

We stopped at the Buffalo Police K9 Corps today to pay our respects and tributes to Fallen Officer Craig Lehner. When we Arrived, We watched as Mr & Mrs Rogers were writing there message of respects onto the many other tributes lay hang on the fence in front of the K9 Training Field.

I was moved when a young man showed up, Backpack in hand as he sat down and pulled out containers as Mrs Sue Rogers asked "What Are You Going To Do" and he replied "Paint An American Flag To Pay Tribute To A Great Man". I told this young gentleman (Keean Haynes) what a wonderful tribute he was doing and that he made me proud.

I then proceeded to post our own lil tribute onto the fence and said a prayer and moved on to the E Dist Station to also send prayers their way.

The response our friends from Buffalo have been very touching and moving. Its amazing that one tragic accident has brought what we call "The City of Good Neighbors" together as one.

God Bless Our City and Our Brothers and Sisters In Blue!
