ECSO Investigating Stolen Vehicle Incidents In The Southtowns. Public Asked to Call w/Information.
Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard is seeking the public’s help with two separate stolen vehicle incidents.
CL 20-058696 - The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stolen vehicle from the Town of Boston. During the evening of Wednesday, September 16, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., a pickup truck was taken from the driveway of a Boston residence. The investigation revealed the vehicle was used to travel to the Village of Gowanda a make a purchase at the McDonald's in Gowanda around 11:00 p.m.
The vehicle was located abandoned on the shoulder of Old National Pike Road in the Town of Boonsboro, Maryland.
CL 20-060404 - the ECSO is investigating a stolen dirt bike from a residence in the Town of Colden. On or about Saturday, September 12, during the overnight hours, a subject stole a 2004 KTM 85 SX dirt bike from the garage of a Colden residence. The dirt bike is described as orange, black, and white, with the number '81' attached.
The motorcycle has not been located.
